The food industry is very good at regulating this and ensures the supplier at s the origin of ingredients on to the product packaging, the skincare industry needs to catch up.
Do your products contain sulphates, parabens and other potentially toxic ingredients?
No our products are made from pure, natural Australian grown ingredients.
In the instance we need to use a none-organic based ingredient or compound too improve the efficacy of the product or ensure safe preservation we also opt for. the premium plant derived options.
All our products adhere to the CLEAN BEAUTY standards set-out by most large retailers like Sephora. We also adhere to the 1300 cosmetic ingredients banned n the UK and adhere to Prop 65 and EU cosmetic compliances.
Can I purchase your products from the supermarket?
No, our products are made in small batches for a niche clientele, we focus on quality over quantity and aim to ensure the customer receives the freshest products possible.
Given our products contain 90-100% Australian grown ingredients and are slow made in our our studio not a mass produced manufacturing plant, we can only release a limited number at a time.
Our focus is not on making mass amount of products that appeal to a mass amount of people. We formulate for Saltie Souls theirlifestyle, environemtne, ethos and values.
Are your products Vegan?
Yes all our products are vegan and do not contain any animal by-products.
Do you test your products on animals?
No , all our products and the ingredients used are cruelty free and not tested on animals. Additionally we do not sell our products to countries that implement compulsory animal testing.
What is your packaging made from and is it recycable?
We are committed to using minimal amount of packaging and opting for substrates and vessels that serve their purpose well and have the least negative impact on the environment.
All our product boxes are made from 100% recycled Ecostock card that is uncoated and free from laminates and protective plastic films.
Our vessel of choice is recyclable glass with recyclable lids and caps. We opt for clear or white glass vessels as they are free from coloured pigments and hold the highest recyclable value.
Sometimes we may need to use amber or blue glass if the product conaintains active ingredients that quickly deteriorate Wii exposed to UV rays.
Occasionally we need to use plastic jars to ensure either safety of use or ease of distribution. In that case the plastic is always 100% recyclable with curb-side collections.
